Evening Primrose Oil??

First has anyone taken it?? What was your experience. I bought some today it's said to help ripen the cervix but who knows. I'm getting really ready to get this baby out ! I've done some research on evening primrose oil and was just wondering if anyone else has tried it?? I'm planning on using it until I go into labor hopefully that will be within the next 2 to 3 weeks!

I took it and it didn't help me dialate at all. I also have a history of seizures and when i took the amount recommended at 40 weeks i had a really bad seizure and discontinued it. I have heard it works for many women though. Goodluck

Will I plan on taking it every night until my baby girl comes.

Ya she was all natural with a quick labour. It was a good experience for her. Let us know how it goes.

I've heard some good experiences from it from a lot of ladies. I haven't heard anything negative YET. I took 1 1000 mg and inserted another 1000 mg. I don't know if it will work or not I want a natural labor and would hope not to rip and have a fast labor. I read some saying it will not cause labor  just ripening while others suggest it does cause labor ... God only knows! Guess ill let you ladies know my experiences
