Extreme Thirst

I wake up more at night to get something to drink than anything else!  I'm just more thirsty at night than day. Anyone else or anyone that may know the cause?

Yes, it's recommended to drink the 100% juice with low sugar. It's also good to drink it to add to your dailt fruit intake! Also, you can drink Gatorade. It's the next best thing to water, really. Just not toooo much cause the sodium in it. Although, I would recommend trying to drink at least a cup or two of water a day. Even just small glasses. I'm not a huge fan of water either but it's important! Also what will help is eating foods high in water. Things like watermelon and cucumber and stuff. Google a list of foods with water :) easier to stay hydrated that way and not just relying on drinks!

Ok.. so I can drink juice if it's labeled 100%? I don't care too much for water since I've been pregnant unfortunately!

Haha I know it's crazy how much we need to drink just to stay in the normal range! Being dehydrated when I wasn't pregnant didn't do much to me. But OMG now that I'm pregnant, the minute I'm too dehydrated I get SO sick. I get dizzy, blurred vision, more Braxton hicks contractions, extreme thirst, fast heart beat. I had to be in the hospital to rehydrate when I thought I was drinking enough! Then learned I should be drinking AT LEAST two liters of fluid a day at the very very least. Preferably water and 100% juice, not the sugary kind.

That's not nearly enough! There's your problem ;) should be drinking more than 80 oz a day at least of fluid. Think about this...the average adult NOT pregnant should drink between 8-10 8 oz glasses of fluid(not caffeine) a day. When pregnant, it needs to be more. Especially if you are working or being active. Drink lots more dear! Pregnancy dehydrated you VERY easily and many problems can stem from dehydration. Even a small amount!

I try to drink like 32oz of Gatorade while I'm working 8 to 5 and when I get home, I'll randomly sip some juice or something.

It's most likely dehydration. How much are you drinking during the day??
