Gender Sono

I was just wondering how many weeks you ladies were when you found out the gender of your baby.  I am 17 weeks now with my 3rd and am hoping for a girl this time..........I have two boys now.  We have to pay $100 dollars for the gender sono so I don't want to get one too early and waste the money we already don't have.....but I am soooo anxious to find out!

Im having my 4th baby and first girl and the earliest I have ever found out was 17.5 weeks. I would "try" and wait untill around 18-20 weeks if you have to pay to get the most accurate results. Good luck, fingers crossed for your girl!!!

at 12 1/2 w the u/s tech said it was way too early to tell, and at 16w6d we could see rather clearly that it was a BOY

Thanks sooo much!!!  I think I will go ahead and schedule it for 20 weeks:)  That won't be too far off now...........I hope he/she cooperates!  Good luck you all!

Don't go early!!! I had a n/t scan at 13 weeks they told me for sure boy... then i went back at 16 weeks and now its a for sure girl!!! its better to wait ... trust me i learned the hard way!

I found out with my daughter at 20 weeks. With this pregnancy doctor said he will again schedule one around that same time.

My doctor said she could schedule it for 18 weeks but I said no way.  I'm waiting until 20 weeks so that there isn't any question later.  I just knew I was having a girl and she confirmed it!  Good luck!  I hope you get your girl

GIRL GIRL GIRL!!! You have to get your girl!!! Congrats on the pregnancy....I wouldnt go to early if you have to pay for it, they say 13-15w but I would wait intill 19w just to make sure! Good Luck keep us updated!!

1st one 22 weeks 2nd 20 weeks 3rd 16 weeks and this one 18 weeks so i would say anytime after 16 weeks would be good good luck

My ultrasound at 20 weeks told me I was having my first baby girl. It was the best news ever!!
If I were you I would go at 20 weeks, as here in the UK it is commonly understood that that is a good stage when you'll get a clear image of girl/ boy bits, although I imagine you *can* tell sooner. But I would wait, seeing as you are paying, until 20 weeks, when the reproductive organs will be developed well.

I found out at 18 weeks with my last daughter and I found out at 15 weeks with this one, so I dont think you will have a problem at this point finding out what your having.  Good Luck!!!!

With my first I found out at 20 weeks and with my second I went in for an ultrasound at 21 weeks in hopes of finding out the gender, but she kept her private parts hidden. We didn't find out she was a girl until she was born. It's best to wait until 20 weeks or later to find out the gender.

You can find out as early as 13 weeks, though it's best to wait until at least 16 weeks. So I think you're good to go.
