Getting injections while Trying to Concieve

Hi everyone,
Me and my boyfriend have been ttc for 4 months now. I'm pretty sure this is our month It's the day before my AF is due and I'm going abroad in 3 weeks. I went to my doctors 2 weeks ago to have my consultation about the injections and she asked me if I was pregnant or ttc and i obviously had to say yes and that I wasnt sure if i was or wasnt pregnant. she said i couldnt have my injections if i was pregnant. i need to have typhoid and hepitius C injections. She also said I needed to have them more than 2 weeks before I go away. I'm going on 13th of april.
I looked on the internet and it says that pregnant women can have both injections?! has anyone had any experience of having these injections while pregnant? do you know what happens if I am pregnant, is there an alternative injection?

Most vaccines are not recommended unless absolutely necessary. Does your OB know where you are traveling to?  My OB said absolutely no travel that requires immunizations. And they must have equal to or greater healthcare than the US.

maybe you should call the doctor again or get a second opinion.
