I have gotten pregnant 3 times while on birth control. Diet baby I was on seasonal it's one that you only have a period every 3 months. Took it religiously and still got pregnant. Had healthy term baby. Second pregnancy I was using nuva ring. Confirmed it was in place properly and I used it correctly as well and got pregnant. Healthy premie baby. And the third pregnancy I was on loestrin. Took it religiously and got pregnant. That one ended in mc

I have a question, I'm 17 been with my boyfriend for 3 years we always had unprotected sex then I got on birthcontrol never missed a day until recently we had sex a coupple days ina row and I forgot my pill all those days and a couple after now I got my period again, for the 2nd time this month. Could I be pregnant ?

i got the mirena sept 29,2008 after the twins were born.  after the week of using backup  protection as ordered by the ob dh and i haven't been using it at all.....still not preggo and my spotting and irregular bleeding is FINALLY slowing down!! i can't wait for no periods or cramps!!! : o)

I got the IUD put in Aug 8, 2008. 3 months after son was born. Found out yesterday and confirmed tonight that I am pregnant. Going to dr tomorrow.

I got pregnant while on orthotricyclin. I took antibiotics for 10 days and didn't think anything of it since I had been on the pill for 4 years. A few weeks later I couldn't hold anything down and I stopped taking the pill only to find out I was pg.

I voted yes.  Before trying for a baby I was on Loestrin 24 for 7 years.  And one time I was on antibiotics and didn't think about back up protection and got pregnant.  It ended in a miscarriage, but not from being on the pill.  Loestrin 24 worked great for me, minus that whoops.  It was my own fault and not that of the pill.  And after I have this baby I will go back on it.

I voted no simply because I never did, but my sister and I were both conceived while my mother was on BC.

I was on birth control for years...... even took antibiotics on them and used no other form of protection and DID NOT get preggo while on it!

was on it for three years...(mind you i never took it right) irresponsible teenager!! lol...got preggers on it though! I was on marvelon 21's!

i was on the shot when i got pregnant with my son and this pregnancy as well. i also got pregnant with my daughter while having an iud. it sounded crazy to me i could see once but all three times so i ask my doc and he told me that there are on rare occasions that birth control doesn't work for someone. i have a 7yr old a 8mth old and one on the way so after our little boy gets here i have opted to have my tubes tied!!! all i can say is if i get preggo after that i definatly have problems!!! lol!!!

I had gotten pregnant with my son and this lil bundle while on birth control. When I got pregnant with my son I was on the patch and we were using condoms. So needless to say, he was a shocker. And this time around I was back on the pill, which I always took, never missed a pill, and always took at 8 am.
However my doctor did some blood work because he was surprised that this had happened twice, something obviously rare. It turns out that before I was on the pill I had low estrogen and higher testosterone or something, and the pill actually evened everything out making me extremly fertile.

go to a doctor just to be sure but your likely not pregnant. on the pill, your periods can be lighter and shorter. it's normal.

I am 18 almost 19 and I am on the pill right now too.... i have never had sex and i took all safty precutions before hand. my boyfriend and i have had sex two days in a row. ONe day we didnt use a condom and then we did. I have been feeling very werid. I have had my period twice since then but they have been very light....i have been experencnig many different symtoms.... i have taking 3 HPT now and they all have came back negative, should i go in and have a doctor check me out. that was the frist time and i was also about a week and a half late so i took the tests. came back negative i didnt worry to  much about it... Could i be pregnant?

I have never taken a pill, but my girlfriend got pregnant with her first while she was on birth control. She kept going to the doctor with all these "weird" symptoms, and found out 5 months later she was expecting.
I have always used the IUD, and I have to say that it is absolutely the best way to go!

I just want to add that I was a VERY good pill taker...never forgot or even took one late...always around 7:00 a.m.

I went to school with a girl who got pregnant on the pill however she admitted that she was not a good pill taker and frequently missed or took them late etc.

My dad's girlfriend got pregnent on the pill before, though I'm unsure of what brand. In fact both of her kids she became pregnant with while on birth control, and one of them she didn't even remember conceiving.

She also had just adopted a puppy, and an old wives tale says that women become more fertile when you adopt a small animal because your taking care of something and your hormones kick in suggesting you want to take care of a baby.

=] Thats the logic anyways, and apparently its common amoungst unexpected pregnancies.

i was on them for 8 years and did not get pregnant but right when i stopped i got pregnant within 4 months.  I took one called portia.

Nope...I was on it for 10 years and twice was on antibiotics and used no other form of protection and never so much as even had a scare.  I was on lo-ovral.
