Well im still very active because im still working full time. My dr gave me a month ago Atarax to calm me down. It made me very sleep so by nine o'clock at night im past out but the last 2 days i'm like a Energybunny and feel like i can run the Commerades Marathon. Is that signs?
Well...with me...I was 4days overdue already and wanted my daughter out!!! So all of Thursday night, I went shopping walked around....then I walked home..then we had sex, the next day I was in labor!..so its fair enough to say, that walking and sex did it for me!
I can fully understand where you are coming from...I'm only 28 weeks and for the last week and half or so I've been gettin very painful/intense braxton hicks and other pains. This is my 7th pregnancy so it's to be expected. Fortunately for you, you are much closer to the end...like Joy said, God intended it to be 40 weeks for a reason. I understand you are in a lot of discomfort but it's far better for mom to suffer a bit and have ahealthy baby than to progress things too early and cuase problems.
My doc gave me a relaxant today...something called Dicyclomine to help relax my uterus so it won't contract as much/hard. But becuase I've had no experience with it and can't find anyone else who has...I won't take it. I would FAR rather go the next 12 weeks in pain, feeling like this kid is trying to dig my cervix out, than to risk even the smallest, tiniest chance that something may happen to him.
Clitoral stimulation along with nipple stimulation. If you can climax from that I promise it will work. I swear it did with my two girls. You have to be totally turned on and reach orgasm.
nothing will work but when your bodys ready i think. you can try all the things in the world it would just be coincidence if one of them works
I've heard of using caster oil - blech. We were told by the dr's office that there's a protein in semen that could start labor... So not just foreplay -but the whole deal might help!
sweetheart2, I know you're in a lot of pain, but there is a reason that pregnancies are intended to last 40 weeks. Don't try to force your baby to come before they are ready. Just keep walking and bouncing on your exercise ball.
EPO will bring on contractions, which will put you in more pain, and who knows how long that will take!
Just keep your feet up and when you hit 39 weeks, talk to your doctor about what you can do.
Well im still working but that definitly doesn't work.
Walking can help you feel better and move things a little, also foreplay I've heard will help induce.
i've done some research on the web they said that if you do acupressure on your spleen 6 it wil induce labour. but i don't know affective this can be. i don't know anymore.
I was admitted to hospital last week and Thursday. I had a very bad pain. But it was only very strong Brickston Hicks and the doctor said that i my enclosed yet. Last night i woke up with a very bad cramp.
my gyne said he won't induce before 39 weeks
how long can this still go one
I dont know if it truly worked. I did the EPO and accupressure, but I had him on his due date, so at least I didnt go over. I did it for about two weeks before. The acupressure worked the best. I had my mom rub my heels and calves, soon after she rubbed them for a long time one day I started having contractions.
There are things you can attempt to TRY and help progress along, but until your body is ready it's not wise to try and bring on labor too early. If it is that uncomfortable, talk to you doctor...he/she may agree to let you come in and be induced now that you are considered term.
It sounds to me like your body is ALREADY preparing for labor. Those pains are most likely contractions.
