Had IV sedation and I'm pregnant!!!!

I had a dental surgery scheduled on May 14.  I believe I got pregnant between May 6 and May 8.  During my surgery I was given IV sedation as I was COMPLETELY unaware that i was infact pregnant.  I am sitting here with heart palipitations worried of what effects this could have to the fetus.  We are extremely worried and would appreciate any advice.

:)  You can always go on google or ask.com and type in questions too. You can find great answers there too.

Are you taking prenatals and folic acid yet??

If not go to walmart, you can buy prenatals for cheap, like $5, and you can get a Folic Acid Supplament. Look for 1000MCG's which equals 1 mg. that's what most dr.'s give pregnant women. If they make you sick, try taking them at night.

oh my goodness I am so relieved. Thank you so much for your help. It truly means a lot. And I WILL go to the obgyn.  I need to find a good one first. :)

No, there are no adverse side effects. basically you were so early that the baby was probably implanting around that time. so there was no placenta at that time. Your baby should be perfectly fine.
