Heartbeat
When does the baby heart start beating. How early can it been seen on ultrasound?
Heartbeat can be seen on the ultrasound before it can be heard on the Doppler. Should be able to see a heartbeat on u/s around 6-8 weeks.
some woman have been able to hear it at 6 wks but usually around the 10wk mark is when its loud and clear! Most doctors wont check for a heart beat until the 10wk mark...mine however wont check until the 20wk mark! But I have bought a fetal heart beat doppler and did it myself.
