No problem :) Thats what we're here for. And I know exactly what you mean about the whole fear thing but just remember that fear does not come from the lord. :)

I heard my baby's heartbeat via transvaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks. I was bleeding and scared to death, so it was the best sound in the world. :)

Oh I'm so sorry that happened. But now you've been blessed again with another wonderful baby :) I'll be sending LOTS of sticky baby dust your way and hoping for a SUPER sticky bean :) I was scared too (this is my very first pregnancy) and still am but its normal. Although once you see the baby and the heartbeat a lot of that fear goes away. Don't get me wrong you'll still worry but that just means you love your baby so very much :) chances are our babies will be perfectly healthy and well :)

How exciting :) 19 days to go! I hope you get to hear it too :) It lifts a huge weight off your shoulders (at least thats how I felt I literally let out a sigh of relief :) and started to laugh and cry lol). Even if you cant (which I hope you do hear it) you'll be able to see it for sure. Since the heart has been developing since week 5. I also have an appointment on may 9th but its for the gestational diabetes blood test :P lol. Good luck and make sure to post pictures :)

I didn't get to hear my baby's heartbeat until I was about 12 weeks along. I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was almost 7 weeks and by the time everything got processed with the doctor I was 12 weeks along. But I did get an ultrasound at the hospital when I found out I was pregnant and got to see the heartbeat which was just as good as hearing it :)

Well for me I was very blessed to be able to hear our little one's heartbeat at 8 weeks 2 days through trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasound. I was SO happy :) because I was worried we wouldn't be able to hear the heartbeat yet. Just see it. But we did! :) Through both types of ultrasound. And I have a tipped uterus which is supposed to make it harder to find the heartbeat. But it just depends on your body and baby I guess. I know thats probably not what you want to hear but its so true. Hopefully though you'll hear that sweet song soon :)

With u/s around 7-8weeks
With doppler anywhere 11+... Maybe a bit earlier.  BUT at that point the baby is free to float around quite alot and can be hard to track earlier.

6 weeks with an internal ultrasound is the earliest normally. Most doctors won't check until 8-10 weeks. Doppler will take longer since its external.
