High Blood Pressure & Protein

I'm 36+1 and in the UK. Today my go checked me as my midwife is on holiday. Due to swollen hands, trace of protein in urine and high resting bp - 102 I'm being referred to a consultant to discuss inducement. Do they mean this will happen around my due date 19th Aug, or are they likely to consider doing it sooner? Thank u in advance

I'm from the U.S but I had that with my son and was admitted to the hospital at 38 weeks and induced. I was told i had preeclampsia. My while body was also swollen(never had a problem till that morning I woke up). It was safer for me to have him right away then wait.

Thank u I may well do. I've been trying not to think about labour cos I assumed it would be 4-6 weeks away and ideally wanted to try a water birth.  Guess I'm just waiting for this to sink in ps does being induced make labour more difficult?

It honestly depends everyone is different. They will induce you sooner if they think baby is at risk etc I was induced at 40weeks with gestational diabetes so.if you need to.talk feel free to send me a message
