How do I regulate my period?

I was just wondering if anyone had any tricks to regulate your period so I can figure out when I'm ovulating? I don't want to take any drugs, my doctor put me on metformin because she said I have polycystic ovaries but I don't know. My testosterone levels are a little high I guess. I stopped taking birth control on December 28th and had my first period on April 7th and just had my second on June 7th. So they are getting closer but still not good enough. I just wanna be pregnant!!!

I just don't want to take metformin. I got really dizzy because it made my blood sugars too low, plus my doctor left town on me so now I don't know where to go. I was just hoping for some good exercise/ diet tips if there is any. I don't have a lot of money to be spending on drug to experiment and wait and see if it helps.

Probably the best way to figure out when you are ovulating is to chart your temps and to use opks to test for it.

With PCOS it is best to do what your doctor recommends. I also have PCOS and it took me 30 months to conceive and that was with a ton of fertility drugs and great advice from my doctor. If your testosterone levels are high then most likely you have PCOS and metformin is probably your best bet at this time. I hope you get your positive test soon!
