How long can a save my urine?

I want to take a pregnancy test with my first morning urine but I don't have a test yet. Can I pee in a cup and then go get a test after I get my kids up? It might be about 3 hours...will the pee still be good then?

Most tests are accurate using urine from any time of day.  ESpecially if it's past time for your period. Your urine, if held in a cup should be good for several hours.  If you got a bfp then you are def preg.  It's much harder to get a false pos. than a false neg.  So, CONGRATS!!! No Margaritas for you for the next 9 months :)

I ended up taking the test a few hours after and got a BFP! I looked it up on the net and it looks like that was an okay thing to do.

I would say buy a 2pack of tests and then use the test when you got home with normal urine. They are still pretty acurate and then take the second test in the morning with FMU.

Yeah...that would be the best idea I guess:( I was just hoping to get a BFP today so It will be easy not to drink a margrita tonight when I go out for Cinco de Mayo;) Not that I will drink one anyway without knowing but being pregnant for sure makes it so easy.

Personally, I would buy the test and do it the following morning. Saves any worry or hassle!
