How long was labor

how long were you FTM in labor? Everyone tells me the first takes a long time. I live an hour away from the hospital and I don't want to go right away. I want to stay home as long as I can. But all I can think about is my neighbor who had her baby in the car while they were on their way to the hospital.

I had a 36 hour labour with my first.

For my first I had a 27 hour labor!! But when it was time to push I only pushed 3 times! My second Ihadto have a sesection BC she was breech!

I felt contractions at 4am and they were like 6 mins apart and consistent i ended up calling my dr at like 11am and went in at 12pm and she said I wasn't dilated barely 2cm... and at 4pm I couldn't bare the pain anymore I got ready and went to the hospital. I got there at like 450 and I was 9cm... my son was born 618.. my water broke like 40 mins after I got admitted.. good thing I went when I did. If you plan to do natural like I did you should stay at home till you can't handle pain anymore.

My first I was only on labor for 7 hours my contractions  started 2 minutes apart

From when I started getting contractions until I gave birth it was 6 or 7 hours. But it wasn't painful until the last 3 hours.

From when my water broke and contractions started to when I delivered was 21 hours total. I stayed home for the first 12 hours until contractions were less than five minutes apart and then headed in, still had plenty of time to get settled in long before things got too serious.

For my 1st time iwas in labor for 4hrs which was a girl. W.my second which was a boy 2hrs & im excepting baby #3 we'll see how long this one takes ill probably have the bby in the car lol. Every labor is diff most are longerr.

I was in labor for 31hrs and then I stoped progressing and I got a c section.

I was in active labor for probably like 11 hours, but they broke my water... I was having early labor contractions 5-7 mins apart into active labor for a total of 29 hours... It didn't feel that long though!

The hospital I'm going to is also far...I don't care...I'd rather be safe then sorry.
