How to tell my parents?! HEEELLLLLLLLP!

My last period was on May 18th, and I used this app I downloaded, and it said i'm due on February 19th 2014. I bought a pregnancy test, but I'm waiting until my period is supposed to be due to take it. The wait is absolutely KILLING me.  I'm really hoping I'm pregnant. But my question is, if I am, how do I tell my parents?? HEEEELLLLLLLP! My boyfriends mom already knows that I might be, but none of my family knows. I'm 17, please don't judge.

:| what's up with that ? lol i'd rather build my own house, and then at least I would own what im paying for but renting is such a waste of money smh.. our bills come up to like 1400(after power, water, cable, etc) we have a 3bedroom2bath house atm, and im not even living there right now so my poor fiancé is alone most nights unless he comes here to stay with me(but I would much rather only driving 10 min to my hospital then having to drive 1hr 20 from our house). ^^babyturnip do you live in Canada? I noticed you said providence instead of county or city.. jw

When i go back to work, we decided that hubby will stay home to avoid cost of daycare. When u count what it cost in travel and daycare, might as well have a parent stay home lol on my own i have a really good job and rent is expensive here too lol i have a three bedroom for 1100$. It was suppose to be 1300$ but if i locked myself in a contract before a certain month they gave it to me for 1100$ and thats cheap where i live lol if i go on province over i could get a whole three story house with a huge yard for 1000$ a month.

@XxkitaraxX I'm not paying too much its how much apartments cost here unfortunately we don't live in an area where we can pay 400 dollars for a house.. I wish we did! No where around here can you pay that little not even in surrounding counties.  I'd be rich if I only played 365 a month lol.

Babyturnip didn't even think.about that lol daycare here is expense I went to 6 places the cheapest I found was $1300 a month and that's mon-fri(9am-5pm) if you want extended hours its like another $20-30 a hour since I work at a daycare I get 30% off my place but still $825 a month is crazy I'm going to be staying out of work until she's 5 months so at least we won't have to pay that I mean even working I would just be paying my paycheck back to work lol glad bd is ok with it :)

I dont get way kids are trying to have kids but its ur body ur choice. I mean i know at 17 i was much more mature then all my friends and i knew if i did get pregnant i would be able to care for it but we decided to wait till we turned 21. I think it was for the best cuz now we have a three bedroom appt and we are much more stable money wise and everything else too. But if ur scared of telling ur mom thats definately a bell ringing in ur head saying ur just not ready. And yes babies are cute and fun but they are expensive! Even with having a good job and being stable with money if my parents havent helped us a little we wouldnt have half the things ready. And it doesnt stop once baby is born. It gets worst actually, i have to make sure u have more then enough diapers, formula if u do that, clothes, medicine, etc. U have to be ready to stay home with a sick baby often and if work doesnt like that then too bad you know...baby comes first. Daycare! I dunno how expensive it is where u live but it aint cheap here. Its easily 250$ a week here and thats public daycare. U want at home daycare its worst.

Anyway im just saying, be ready for a rough road....beautiful road though. Parenthood is a very beautiful and rewarding thing :) and if ur ready to work very hard then dont let anyone tell u its impossible.

That's a rip off we own our house now but when we had a mortgage it was only $360 a month and we have a 2 story home with all large rooms it had 7 bedrooms when we moved in but we renovated to make the rooms larger. You're definitely paying way to much

Idk what state you live in but I want to move there!! Lol we pay 1,000 for a one bedroom apartment where I live and most apartments are between $1100-1350 we have to move to a two bedroom BC the baby is coming and they are 1200 at least.  I wish I could pay 500 for an apartment. Lol.. NY state is outrageous everything is crazy expensive.. I'm 23 and have been doing everything on my own since I was 18 bc I got pregnant and kicked out of my house. (I lost that baby I'm my second trimester as well as my second pregnancy) this is my third and I'm 23+5 with a beautiful baby girl.  Its not easy having a child.. I would suggest waiting.. you should find you're own place first not expect his mother or you're parents to help..BC a lot of times they won't.. good luck to you Hun in whatever you decide to do

At 17 having a baby is tough. I did it. It was the loneliest I had ever been in my life. Not judging u but God works in mysterious ways. If I could go back and do it over again I def would not have gotten pregnant.
And to Tay...she's 17. What kind of a GOOD job is she going to get with only a hs diploma behind her? Not a very good one. Rent alone is $500 or more for something descent, a car, light, water, gas, food, medical. Not depending on government assistance at 17 means she will have to figure all that out. And no theres nothing wrong with the system but she in my eyes is a baby. I wouldn't wish a teen pregnancy on anyone cuz I lived it.

Ok so I graduated hs when I was 16, and went to cosmetology school, I just turned 19, and I'm 36weeks and honestly I couldn't be happier me and my fiance had been trying since I was 18, and I didn't want to wait anymore I mean he has a full time job that pays good, and I had 2 part-time jobs. The one I still work at is a nursery and baby's are so awesome and sweet :) if you want to have a baby at 17 go for it but its going to be hard(alot of money) I mean my baby girls not even here and over already spent over $6000(the things that are most expensive are the crib, caraway, and swing) you could prob get away with spending 1500 or 2000 if you went to consignment shops though the only thing your mom would probably worry about is that your 17 and probably can't afford everything you need if your going to school to and honestly I make about $275 a week(30-35hrs) before I quit the other 2weeks ago I was still only getting like $500 a week(60-65hrs) and if I had to pay for everything myself without my fiancés help I couldn't do it.. not trying to discourage you because its totally possible (she is not 13, she can get a job its not the end of the world for her to have a baby now, it would just be a little harder than if she already had a job and money saved so don't judge her for wanting a kid, if you want to judge someone go to the welfare office and see how many pot heads are up there getting free money and not even feeding the 7/8 kids they have!)

i got pregnant at 18 and even though i love my daughter with every ounce of my being i wish i would have waited. it was really hard all my friends would go out and party and i never could eventually all of my friendships fell apart because i could never do anything except work two jobs to support my daughter because her dad left the day i told him i was pregnant. not to sound rude but being a teen mom is not cool its not awesome like they show you on tv and its plain dumb to try to actually try to have a baby so young. you are still a baby yourself. and while some people are with their highschool sweethearts forever chances are you wont be. chances are soon after you have a baby he will leave because he doesnt want the responsability of being a parent.

Like the other ladies have said sit down with your boyfriend and talk honestly about what you expect from pregnancy and a baby.
It is hard work
(i was 22 when my son was born in my own house with my boyfriend) and yes it was hard work still. You can't expect your mum and dad to babysit when ever you want to go out or your a bit tired. Pregnancy isn't just walking around with a cute bump either you won't get a bump until about 17 weeks before that your tummy is just squishy for about 10 weeks its cool then you progressively get more uncomfortable. By the time you have the baby your exhausted! Then you have about 2-3 years of broken sleep with feeds to begin with and then teething and then nightmares.
Being a mum is awesome but being a teenager is equally awesome so enjoy it

I know you said you want to try again, but if I were you I would wait. I had my first daughter at 14. Obviously I was still in school, but I did finish. She is now 3.5 years I am 17 and pregnant again. Even though I have a job, and a supportive boyfriend it is still the hardest thing ever. Being a parent is hard at any age, but its hard because of everything you have to give up. I got lucky and have been with the same guy for 4.5 years and my kids have the same dad, but it doesn't always work out that way. You are still young and you have your whole life ahead of you to have a baby.

I was 17 when one day I was super sick and thought to take a rest. My mother was upset but I knew it wad the best thing to do. My mother is my best friend and though she was upset she knows this is what I want, id just come out and tell her once you know for sure. The longer you hide it the more upset and angry they may become.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't see that.. I'm sorry for your lost. Happened to me my test showed I was then I wasn't. I think I miscarried earrly had bad pains and blood. In a way I sad but also it was like. God tellling me we weren't ready..at the time he was right.. and I'm really glad because I was in a bad situation. So maybe that was gods way of telling you.. ii would be careful. 17 is lil young and no freedom... depend on parents. Your bf and you should try when you have a place together. No judging just looking out. :)

I just straight out told my mom that the doc confirmed I'm ppregnant by the blood test. My mom would be hurt if she was the last to know. She can't really get mad since I am 21..she's more excited to be a grandma.

Trying to get pregnant at 17 may not be your best idea. I'm 19 and very excited but still wish I was older that way I could provide with less of my parents help.

Id be waiting to make sure you are preg and its confirmed by a dr. There is no point in stressing until you are sure and then just cone out with it, they will either support you or not but as long as you have other support you'll be ok
