I am so confused and can't get any answers!!!

I had a c-section on June 9th. For about 4 or 4 and a half weeks I had the normal lochia bleeding, it eventually had gone to a dark brown color like it was suppose to but never got to the point where it got to a light brown and kept getting lighter until I had clear discharge. It just stayed the dark brown, than I didn't have any or just barely had the dark brown for about 2 days and than all of a sudden I've had very, very heavy bleeding. Could this be my period, I had no pms symptoms or anything. Could this heavy bleeding be because I had sex (I know I wasn't suppose to)? I just basically want to know if its bleeding again because I've been overdoing it to much, or its my period. I used the pull-out method when having sex and husband didn't even finish anyways so I'm also worried about pregnancy, if I was pregnant again would the bleeding, wheather lochia or menstrual have stopped? Oh and by the way I'm not breast-feeding if this can help answer my question.

Last comment...promise. If you ever have any questions about your c-section, you can send me a private message and I'd be happy to try to help.

OH, by the way before getting pregnant I had heavy periods, and since having my c-section more than a year ago, my periods are lighter. I don't know if yours will be, but just be careful with losing so much blood.

You may have had a small clot that passed. The same thing happened to me 2 times after my c-section. If you are still bleeding, I doubt you are pregnant. You would have to be ovulating, and if you're continuously bleeding I wouldn't think an egg could implant. I suggest taking it easy, no matter how energetic and fine you feel, I was on the go from the beginning with doctors appointments and my new found energy, and that's what caused my problems, plus shortly after the first month was over I was exhausted all the time from life with a newborn. Just take it easy, and if you are bleeding enough to fill a pad in an hour go to the doctor ASAP.
