IMPLANON!! PERIOD????

So I have the Implanon. My dr didn't tell me much about my periods wether they would get heavier, lighter, go away etc.
So if anyone has had it before what happened with your periods? Did your cycles change at all?

Iv'e had it since Aug. 30th of 2011. I just started my period on Tuesday and it's still heavy like I just started. I hope it doesn't last 3 weeks! or 4 months! And I definitly don't want to gain 30 lbs.. I still have 17 I'm trying to lose from having my baby

i had no periods for 6mth, then bled for 3weeks straight and had all the symptoms of menopause at 21! I ended up on HRT to try stop it but ended up having it removed as symptoms were so bad. but everyone is different

I bled for four months straight before they took it out. Gained thirty pounds an my liver enzymes elevated.
