Implantaion Bleeding

We are trying to conceive. I was 15 days late for my period. Have all traditional pregnancy symptoms. Took 9 HPT, all were negativ, except a very faint line on one. On day ( which I heard was when the embryo usually attaches to the uterine wall) I started very spotty bright bleeding with cramps. The next day I went to the doctor. He sent me to the hospital to have all types of testing: Thyroid, quantum HCG, Progesterone, and a few others. also he said the bleeding would probably continue. He gave me prenatal samples. it has been 4 days since the bright bleeding and heavy crammping began there was a little stringy dark stuff but very light blood. Could I be pregnant with implantation bleeding? I have had reagular periods for 10 months

The bleeding stopped I took another HPT and it was positive. The doc said he thinks my test came back neg. I have to call on Monday. So idk I'll retest in a week thanks for the answers.

Yeah the HCg will be an important factor here.

It doesnt sound like implantation bleeding though.  I know everyone is different but I had implantation bleeding with this pregnancy and it will occur before you are late for your period or right around your period.  Mine was a maroonish colour when i wiped and I wore a panty liner for a couple hours with some very very light spotting then it was done.    

bright bleeding and heavy cramping sound more like a very early miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy but it may not be.  There are other things that could have caused it as well. If your HCG comes back good they will probably want to do an ultrasound to see if they can find the source of the bleed.

Did they call you back with the beta?  That should be your answer right there.  HCG levels in your blood higher than 5 represent pregnancy, and they should recheck within 72 hours to make sure they are rising properly.

Last period was Jan 30 2011. I should be about 6 weeks. I normally have a very heavy dark period.
