Is it the pills, a baby, or something else?

Okay, my period has been like clockwork for the last year. Starts every Monday morning between 6 and 9 am. Last month, it was one day late (started Tuesday, Sept. 21). According to my birth control, I am due to start my next period on Monday, Oct.18 (one week from tomorrow).

During my last period, my boyfriend and I had sex without a condom. Since my period, I've been having small pms-like cramps all month. Yesterday, my stomach was kind of "rumbly" feeling, and today I've been cramping again. The cramps are not severe, and they only last for a few seconds.  But today, I went to the bathroom and noticed a light pink on the toilet paper. I went again about half an hour later to check and see if it was still there, but this time it was a brown color. I am approximately 6 days past "ovulation". Again, I'm on birth control. I missed one pill on this pack of birth control on the second week (the light blue week), but I took it immediately the next morning (about six hours after I normally take it), and have had sex one time without a condom since then.

Is there any possibility I could be pregnant?  If not, what else could be causing my symptoms?

*Note:  I do not have any other pregnancy symptoms. My breasts seem slightly larger, but no tenderness, no fatigue, no frequent urination....no other tell-tale signs.

Could be an irritated cervix or a vaginal infection.  It could also be a side effect of the pills.

*EDIT: New symptom.

We had intercourse again tonight, and I bled a good bit afterwards. What's going on?

Thank you for replying! We had intercourse during the middle of my period. It was two days after my period started, and my period lasted about four days.

If you had intercourse DURING your period it's not likely that you got pregnant during that time. Especially since you are on the pill.    Did you have intercourse during the beginning of your period or closer to the end?  If it was the beginning it's very unlikely you got pregnant, if it was towards the end there is a teeny chance, but doubtful.  Typically you ovulate approximately 2 weeks (give or take a few days either way) AFTER the first day of your period.  That would be your fertile time.  While sperm have been known to survive in the vagina for up to 3-4 days they would not have survived that long.  If you are still concerned, wait until next Monday and if your period does not show, take a test.
