It's not letting up, and I've been to a doctor...

My weight before I was pregnant this time around was 175 (I never got back down after having my first a year ago). Within the first couple of weeks I had dropped down to 160, and now I'm at 150, and still losing. If I eat, I throw it up about 10 minutes later, and I'm noticing blood when I only vomit mucus. I've been to a doctor, and was prescribed nausia medications. It's not doing any good, and I've explained this. They tell me to wait, that it might take a while for my body to accept it, but I'm about 9 or 10 weeks along, and I haven't been able to eat much more than a a few grapes every couple of days without puking. My dizzy spells have worsened, and I'm passing out more frequently. I'm not sure what to do at this point, and my doctors are of no help. I'm worried there may be something wrong with the baby, but I'm being told that this is fairly normal, and that everything is alright. How can this be normal? And how can blood in my vomit tell me everything is alright? Has ANYONE been through this? I'm at a loss of what to do anymore.

Thank you everyone. I did end up going to a different doctor, and they placed me in the hospital for a couple days. I am keeping food down, and gained 2 lbs while there.

If you are throwing up blood I would be in the ER.  I had that with my second and they were afraid I tore my esophagus.  I was told if my blood levels (something they check for internal bleeding) were high then I would be staying a few days.  Thank goodness I didn't have to stay.  I did have to have IV fluids with my 1st and 2nd and I just got dizzy, never passed out.  I would find someone who would listen, that is a lot of weight to loose.  I lost between 9-11 pounds with each pregnancy and once I hit the 10 pound mark, I was being watched a lot.  I was also put on Zofran to help.  I was taking it 3 times a day and it took at least a week for me to start to be able to eat and not throw up each time.  Good luck, its miserable, but hopefully it won't last too long.

I can remember with my first seeing blood when I threw up and I figured it out to be irritation in my throat because I threw up so much or after I ate.
As for your dizzy spells, and how much weight you have lost so far, your doctor should be concerned and try to help you. I would definitely get a second opinion if you can. I'm not sure what meds they could put you on, but there has to be something to help, at least a little bit. If you are passing out that frequently, you are most likely dehydrated. It's better to try to keep fluids down at this point and if you are not able to, you may need IV fluids at the hospital.
What do you normally try to eat that you end up throwing up 10 minutes? Have you tried just eating carb foods like pasta, potatoes, pancakes, etc.? That has always helped me with each of my pregnancies until I was feeling better to eat healthier foods.
