Kinda freaking out a little about this one...

So I've been leaking fluids I've noticed on my underwear lately, this past I'd say 4 er 5 days, I'm only 22w4d and it's kinda freaking me out.
And I'm wondering...

I've had quite a few UTI's during this pregnancy.
And it's caused me to not exactly have the best bladder control since.

I have to pee like every 20 mins now, and when I go, I notice a very small amount of fluids on my panty liners.
It doesn't seem to have any color to it as far as I've remembered.

I try to smell to see if it's pee, but my nose is so conjested cuz of my allergies, that I can't really smell anything.

I'm freaking out because of I heard about amniotic fluid leaks.
But I also heard that you would KNOW if your water broke or not.
And honestly... I DON'T KNOW and it's scaring me!

I see my doctor this week I think.
I gatta call and find out cuz I lost my appt. card when I moved out of my mom's house...
So he'll be able to tell me what's going on.

My lil Ivy is still VERY active, kicking me in the bladder atleast once or twice a day or so... just goin ape sh*t in there... so I tell myself I'm probably just over reacting.

Could I just be leaking urine and not feel it?
Like I said, it's a very small amount, the size of a quarter wet mark on my liners.
I pee myself when I sneeze or cough all the time, so I know I really don't have much control of my bladder it seems.

I just need some opinions towards whether I really SHOULD be freaking myself out or not.

I'm not cramping other than the normal, and I've been getting painless braxton hicks contractions a few times pretty much everyday.
I'm not bleeding or anything like that.
I feel pretty good other than the tiredness of carrying around the extra weight and my alergies...

Anything like this happen to anyone else?

hahaha it seems that all of us are dealing with the same issues.
Thank god. Cuz I hate being the only one with these types of issues.

And the wet spots turned back to the creamy CM so it was most likely just a thin CM speel for those few days.

I am enjoying this post though because you ladies have given me a pretty good laugh to calm my nerves.

I think the pee when you throw up is like a revised version of the sneezing/coughing routine. I was really sick on monday and i had to change my underwear because the strong vomitty coughing action made me pee a little more than a litle...lol. Its good to hear im not the only one!
Oh and with the random discharge i agree it probably just pee. I had a severe uti pre pregnancy and i used to get it a lot. Just small amounts that literally leak out. Or i would wake in the morning with tiny patches showing where i had moved around at night lol.

Haha this just became a very intimate post...dont we all feel like we know eachother just that little bit better?

Cindie - I had the same thing happen to me when I had food poisoning when I was like 4 er 5.
I just remember running to teh bathroom every 10 minutes to puke and my mom putting a 2 foot tall stack of my underwear next to the toilet cuz everytime I puked I liquid sh*t my pants and peed myself.

God that was horrible... I dunno how Liquori's Pizzaria still runs a decent business... cuz hundreds of people have gotten food poisoning from their pizza's... there's something with the hamburg that makes everyone sick... I guess not that many people eat hamburg anymore... maybe that's why. lol

Know what... I've got this gross thing that happens... if I'm throwing up from M/S... I'll all of a sudden feel like I've gotta pee and poop at the same time as throwing up. It's TMI srry. But it happens.

similar thing happend to me few weeks ago and I am almost 24 weeks now. I was terrified if it was the baby liquid etc.. but it turned to be urine! although I was also having the normal pregnancy discharge but I felt this was more liquid and non smell.
Not having full control over your bladder and peeing every 30 minutes would make you leak non smelling urine (the urine doesn't smell as you are passing it very frequently). Nothing to worry about but for peace of mind you can always ask to be checked which I did..

And then when you finally let everything out it hurts even more cuz everything is sinking back down!

When I pee I can literally feel everything sloooowly sinking back down.
It's like WTF!

lol i did that one night when sneezing! and i farted, but then all of a sudden df was like laughing his a$$ off, thought it was the best thing!!!!

oh i hear ya on the peeing thing, every morning, around 5am i actually wake up because my bladder is soooooo full, it hurts to move!!! and go pee before going to bed also! i mean, river pee lol.....but, still by 5am i'm in the bathroom! and i hear ya also on the clean bathrooms.....

HAHA I thought I was the only one going to the bathroom, sitting down for 2 seconds, then end up coughing or  sneezing and peeing all over myself like I never even got up to go pee!!!!

Ahh god I just can't wait till this pregnancy is over with.
It's more torture than it is fun.

Specially cuz I'm out and about most of my day so if I pee myself, I'm pretty much **** outta luck till I can find a CLEAN bathroom [yes CLEAN. Springfield is pretty disgusting.] to change my pad.

Ontop of that, my little one likes to kick pee n for the first time today,  a fart, out of me.

i dont drink alot of anything lol, and i pee myself all the freaking time!!!
so i feel ya! and sometimes i have a light discharge that seems wierd, so i just check my CM, and sometimes i just have much more than before, and then it tapers off.....

martike~~girl, i've been questioning myself on buying some of those things! the diapers? cos i've sneezed once, right after going to the bathroom, and i peed all over myself and the couch.....tmi-eew i know, but wow!!! and as i said i had literally just used the bathroom, and i could tell my bladder was empty, b/c of that little "tingle" but pain after? kinda of from "straining" to see if there's anymore lol

I think it's urine because if you drink enough water your urine can be almost clear, and a small amount may have no color to it (and little smell).  BTW... be prepared to wear those liners or adult diapers.(lol) for the rest of your pregnancy and maybe a while after...

There are NO remedies! Which sucks for all us. I've begun having that problem too... it sucks

Thanks alot ladies.
I'm really not worried anymore cuz I got a few moments of non-stuffy nose-ness about 1/2 hour ago, and it did smell like a very light-scented urine.
So I think I'm okay.
But I will let my doctor know this week about the leakage and if there's any way to prevent it because I waste so much money on pads and liners for myself it's rediculous. lol

I agree with losingmymindinGA that it can very well be cervical mucos or urine.  I would call your doctor or your local Labor and Delivery and ask them. They will probably have you come in and get checked out. Keep us posted.

Chances are pretty good that it's a) thin cervical mucus or b) urine.  BUT if you are truly worried call you doctor and tell them...they can do a simple swab test of your cervix and tell you if it's amniotic fluid or not.  Not ALL women KNOW when their water breaks.  Sometimes the bag can rupture but babys head may be plugging the hole.  It's not always an obvious gush or even a steady trickle.  It's alwyas better to be checked and be safe than to risk complications.
