My contractions with my first was cramps and they went from ten minutes to 2 minutes for hours up until I got the epidural
I only had back labor so my tummy would harden and I'd get a sharp pain (almost like a back spasm) around my sides, my back and then later into my labor the pain would go down into my hips and thighs! It didn't start out that bad though so you could possibly be in early labor!
You're probably at the very first stage of it , trust me you will know when your having full on co traction because you won't want to move or anything
Thanks ladies. I figure I'll wait and see if they get any stronger. At the moment they are intense but I'm still able to walk and talk, I just have to breathe through them. My mom advised me to wait until they are 2 minutes apart
It makes your torso all tight & sometimes pain in your back. Feels like lots of pressure. When I was in labor with last one, they said wait until the pain was bad enough that you can't move or talk through the contraction to go in
Contractions get really painful and your tummy will tighten up every time you get a contraction. Call your doctor
