Late period, negative pregnancy tests

My husband and I have been trying to concieve for a couple months now. I finished my last pack of birth control pills on July 20th. I got my regular period on August 22nd. I never got a period in September. I am now 3 weeks late. I've taken 3 tests and they were all negative. I also have been feeling a bit different for the last couple weeks- tired, loss of appetite, moody and the tops of my breast are a little sore. Is this a side effect of stopping the pill or is there a chance I could be pregnant? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Go 2 see your doctor and he can take blood tests that shud show if your pregnant gud luck!

I'm getting very anxious. I have to wait two weeks before I can get a blood test done. I'm getting tired of buying hpt's. Yeah, I would recomend that you go to the doctor and get a blood test done. That's what I'm going to do. Good Luck!

i also have that problem now.last month i am expecting my menstruation but i'm failed. i stop taking my pills last  august 07. it''s almost 6 yrs im taking pills and i decided to stop august and i had my menstruation then. But My problem now is that, septmber i don't have menstruation. I have some signs of being pregnant but my concern is my pee test is negative 2 weeks ago and just today i bought for 2nd test. Again it's negative.

I really don't understand. Could anyone here help me?i'm very confused. I will go to my doctor perhaps next week.

Well, I took another test today and it was negative. I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll find out whats wrong with me.

It could be that your body is just getting used to life without birth control pills. I was a little irregular after going off of the pill. If you are 3 weeks late, it should show up on tests that you are pregnant by now. You could always go to your doctor and find out why you are so late, and they could even give you something to make you start if necessary, but they would give you a blood test to be sure you aren't pregnant yet. I was in the same boat. I finish my last pack in july had a period on the 8th of july. We started TTC and I found out on aug 5th i was pregnant. I had taken a few test before that and a test on july 25 at the doc. office they say no pregnant but I was! I would wait a week or so and test again! Good Luck!
