Lazy Little Girls

Is it just mine or are little girls in the womb lazy?  My bestfriend is pregnant with a boy and hers is active 24/7 since week 17, but mine is a girl and I didn't feel her until around week 20, I am now 30 weeks (tomorrow) and she moves a little bit everyday.. enough to where I know she is alive.  I am so jealous of people that move all day.. I wish mine did.  If mine doesn't move for a couple hours I start freaking out and doing everything I can to make her move at least once.. She is always okay but I don't know I cant help but worry.  Is laziness just a girl thing or is it just my baby?

My baby didn't flip head down until 31 weeks. She has yet to turn the right way.  When people hold my belly to feel her for what I feel is too long (you know after like 5sec) I tell then oh she doesn't like people.  Or she sleeps when I'm moving. Usually works. I do have one friend tho that likes to yell at my crotch. Sry vulgar

Then I am pretty sure thats her head pocking out of my side.  It's hard but it feels so small lol.  I wish mine would go head down.. it makes me worry I might have to get a c-section! :(

I just counted her kicks because she decided to move lol and I got 10 in about 7 minutes.. But I had to lay completely still on my side.  Mine has more active days then not active but the not active days drive me crazy.  My doctor had told me last appointment last week about the kick count but I had forgotten what she had said.

The butt is squishy! The head is hard. Lol. Shes been head down for a long time now so i know her butt is by my belly button and when she stretches it feels like shes pushing out and theres a lot of pressure on my belly i even see the outline of her body when she does it! Im 36 wks tomorrow!

My doctor told me after 26 weeks I should be getting 10 kicks in an hour, some doctors say 10 kicks in 2 hours, and some doctors start it at 28 weeks, some don't do it at all! Mine has more active days than others, but she's never been super active all day once! Little stinker!

How many times are they suppose to move in what time limit?  Sometimes mine will be more active then most times.  The other day I was laying down with my husband and I put his hand on my right side and he counted like 10 kicks in 5 minutes, BUT that rarely happens.  She will be really active for like 2 days then nothing the next day and then active the next and not for 2 days and then active the next.  Ugh!  Lol.

My little girl ONLY moves if I'm laying down doing a kick count/paying attention to her. When I do that she'll usually move fairly quickly, about 10 times in 20 minutes, after that I stop paying attention, but the only time I notice her is when I'm laying flat. It's definitely worrisome because I feel like she SHOULD move 24/7, but I know I can't compare pregnancies. I've heard a LOT of women tell me that their girls were less active than boys!

My first girl I don't remember for sure but I never felt the need to go to the doc due to inactivity. This one has been very active then every few days nothing. That makes it worse!

I had a miscarriage last year on Halloween and this WHOLE pregnancy has been nothing but worry worry worry!  I past 14 weeks and I though my worrying would be over, then came the worry of preterm labor, now stillbirth, and I am sure that once she gets here I will always worry about SIDS..  What kind of movement do you be feeling?  Mine I put my hand on my right side and I feel her poke something round out, it lasts a second then goes back in.. I feel that a few times in a row and then I don't feel anything for a few hours.. I HATE IT!!  :/ Lol

I'm just like you....Im a first time mom as well and having a little girl. She is very laid back. I don't feel her everyday and it freaks me out. When I do feel her move its only in a short period of time. It seems like she stays in one spot, which is my right side. I'm very excited, anxious, and nervous.

My daughter barely moved that much too I remember my friends that were having boys say how they couldn't sleep and always got woke up from them moving but I never woke up from her moving and it never hurt either. I have a feeling this one is a girl too cause I'm 16 weeks and haven't really felt any movement at all but I will c in december

I know that awkward feeling!  My mother in law ALWAYS wants to feel her kick (this is her first grand baby) and she will be feeling and feeling and there will be nothing!  Then she will be like "was that a kick" and I am like "uh I don't think so" haha.  What are some of the things you guys do to get them moving?  I just try to lay on left side and drink cold water.. sometimes it works, or I will lay on my back a give her a little push to the side or a poke.. that also only works sometimes.

I am glad I am not the only one.  How does it feel when yours stretches?  I will be laying on my left side and I will first feel a little push around my left hip bone so I put my hand on my right side (below my ribs but above my hip) and I will feel something round poke out seconds after feeling a little push on my left hip.  Also, do any of you know how to tell what part is head and what part is butt or feet?  I am a ftm.

Didn't feel my little girl till about 26 weeks  because I have an anterior placenta. But she's pretty lazy if I m up moving around she doesn't move much so I m hoping for a mellow little girl when she finally joins us:). The only reason I wish I could feel her more is really because of my friends they want to feel her and it just gets to the point of awkward lol

My first was a lazy girl. :) the most movement i got from her was her kicking my bladder or stretching.

This one is a little more active, but when she first started moving it would tickle! Lol. But she mainly stretches too.

I am 26 weeks 4 days pregnant with a girl. The first time I felt her move was 19 weeks 4 days. She moved a little but not a lot til about 2 weeks ago. She moved all the time and then for 2 days hardly moved at all. I was panicking but then she went back to normal so I know how you feel :)
