Lazy family

Anybody else have family members who don't help with anything? Here I am due on Sunday and my moms van door is stuck closed which means my mom won't be able to go with me to the hospital if it doesn't get unstuck. We call my brother all day and he doesn't answer then now at 9 we call him and he says oh I thought you called yesterday. Um if I go into labor he can't do that or I won't have a way to the hospital! Then my sister didn't help me at all today when I was cleaning the mouse cages or HER fish tank. She hasn't done any laundry since I told my mom I refuse to wash her clothes.

I honestly thought that since I am so close to having the baby the people around me would help out a little bit, but I guess I was wrong. My daughter helped me rinse the dishes off today though so they could be put in the dishwasher lol. I know that I'm still capable of doing everyday things, but it gets tiring not having any help.

I know what you mean! I had my baby 3 and a half weeks ago, and I had to have emergency surgery to take my gallbladder out a week ago. I came back home from the surgery and the next day I was up doing dishes because nobody had done them. I understand my family has had alot going on, because I just had a baby, then surgery, and my sister has been in and out of the hospital for depression and suicide talks. She never has actually done anything, but talks about it. But its been her turn to clean the bathroom for like 2 months now, and I physically can't do it. She says she's too depressed to clean it, but she can have friends over and hang out with them. My parents came home and saw me doing the dishes a couple of days after surgery and told me to stop, not to push myself. I told them they wouldn't of gotten done if I didn't do them! Ugh its frustrating, but a price I have to pay because I live at home. I appreciate all they do for me, and I do feel bad for my sister, but ugh! I can't do it all, especially on top of having a newborn.
