Light period

Hi there,

I hope someone can help me. I am a little confused by my last period (which happened two days ago now). My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant now for 3 - 4 months. I came off the Pill in September 08 and had a normal period pretty much straight away. My periods have then been regular each month and I have a 30 day cycle. Usually my periods last 3 -5 days and are relatively heavy for the first two days and then become lighter, however my last period (which was pretty much on time) only lasted one day and was different in colour and also very light in comparison. I didn't really think much of this at first but I have now started to wonder whether or not this is infact a false period and I am actually pregnant ? If I'm not pregnant, then is a 1 day period somethign I should see the doctor about anyway?

For the last 5 days I've also had sensitive teeth, random headaches and I've started to feel sickness throughout the day as well as becoming very tired the last couple of days in the afternoon. Today I've also had backache, stomach cramps and aches in my legs. Are these signs too ?

I did take a pregnancy test on the day my period was due (it started in the evening) which came back negative. I think I will do another tomorrow morning but I wondered if anyone had any advice on the light period ? Is this something to worry about ?

might be an off period or implantation bleeding. i'd test again a few times over the next week to be sure which

hey

I have some of those symptoms, such as headaches,sensitive teeth and lethargy, and for the past year now my periods have only lasted one day with some spotting.

Im not trying for a baby but i would like to get pregnant in the future.

The Dr said it was stress but after a year it hasnt improved after all this time. ive also seen a homeopath but to no avail.

It would be good to know how you get on.
