Low iron.. Ooh the irony..

Well Im currently taking iron supplements n I was told I need to take 2 a day but since they make me sick my ob told me to take 1 in the morning n 1 either in the afternoon or at nite but the thing is im supposed to take it with orange juice or water n was also told to not drink alot of milk as it would stop my body from absorbing the iron. But the thing is I love milk. I usually drink milk in the morning n at nite. And not it is really hard to drink my milk bcus I was told I really need my iron to go up. Do you ladies have any advise on what I can do or how much time I need to wait after taking my supplement to drink milk?? Thanx for your help. Sorry is kinda long.. Thanx again...

Milk does stop the absorption of iron so maybe u could cut back to one glass a day and try to eat foods high in iron until ur levels go up.. low iron is not good especially when ur pregnant
