Measuring big at 24 weeks

today i went for a check-up. i am 24 weeks. today he measured me and said i was measuring at 27 weeks. told me next checup that he would do an ultrasound to see why i am measuring 3 weeks ahead. kinda freaks me out. been reading online and some say it could be a big baby, some say too much fluid and sum said a hidden baby. has anyone else had this and had a baby smaller thatn 8lbs?

I wouldn't worry.
My daughter was estimated to be about 8 1/2 lbs the NIGHT BEFORE I had her and she ended up coming out 10 lbs 13 oz!!!
I was suspected to have GD with her because of how big she was and I had almost almost 40lbs of swelling [[I know that because it didn't take but a month to lose that 40lbs. Some of it was my daughter too though, but most of it was swelling.]] but I went without prenatal care with most of her pregnancy and will never know if I had GD with her.

This time at my 32 week measurement ultrasound, the doc estimated my son to be about 5 lbs 3 oz and was measuring at 32w4d to be 34w2d.
I'm 35w4d now and I'll be getting another measurement ultrasound next week. But I'm not gunna even take it to mind what that stupid computer says because they were almost 3lbs off with my daughter.
So chances are they're gunna be off again.

I'm pretty huge already but that really doesn't mean anything.
We'll never know until he's born!!
But I do hope he's smaller than they estimated him to be! lol

I was HUGE with all my babies (4) but with my last it was crazy big! I measured big most of my pregnancy. I had multiple u/s becuase doctors were sure I had GD and baby was huge! I also had TONS of fluid. Well at 37 weeks I had an u/s and was told my baby girl was around 9 lbs 11 oz!!! At 37 weeks!! Well I had my little girl 2 days later and she weighed 7 lbs 6 ozs. She was a little early but still now where near 9 lbs 11 oz, lol.
I wouldnt worry to much even if they tell you your baby is big, I have learned the hard way that u/s are just guesses, they arent 100% and can be off by a few pounds either way.
