Miscarriage- please help

I had a miscarriage a month ago and have been having moderate to severe pain in my abdomen since then.  It gets really bad sometimes, and I'm worried that something might not have come out that should have.  I tried going to the doctor but they insisted that it was appendicitis and referred me to the ER, where I wait for 9 hours to not be seen.  I don't have health insurance and I need to know if this is serious or not.

regarding the no inusurance thing... see if your doctor would put you on a payment plan to assist with the costs.  i dont have pregnancy insurance and my doctor was very willing to help me out.  just ask :)  i am sure that they would be willing to do something to help you with the cost of an ultrasound

i would have an ultrasound done.  i had a d and c on sept. 28 and had no bleeding afterwards like they told me i would.  then, 7 days after, i had severe pain.  they scheduled an ultrasound for the next day and sure enough, they saw something in my uterus.  i chose to try and let my body rid of it on its own, which did work.  my next period, "something" was expelled.  but, that option isnt for everyone.  and with your pain that you are having, you could have something in there that wasnt expelled.  so, if i were you, i would get in to see the doc asap just to make sure that everything is ok.  let me know if you do and how things go...
