Mucus plug

Sorry if it's tmi.

What's it supposed to look like?
I've been getting lots of clear stretchy discharge today when I wipe and i was wondering if it could be my mucus plug coming away. Never seen anything like it before.

Is it supposed to be bloody or have any colour to it?
I'm 39 weeks 3 days.

I had sex the other night & when I wiped it was like yellow mucus on the tissue almost like I blew my nose or something. Than the come came out. Was that my mucus plug.????

It doesn't have to be bloody or come out all at once but I think what you are experiencing is just normal end of pregnancy discharge. I get it. It's gross and unfortunately isn't a sign of labor at all

It can show a little blood but it's a yellowish/ clear slime really.... And it comes out over a period of time

I have clear stretchy discharge today when I wiped. Now I don't see it anymore

Mine was bloody and kind of greenish like boogers.  I never saw it in my first pregnancy and lost it during my Second pregnancy after my contractions began
