I'm 7 weeks having terrible nausea and throwing up how am I supposed to eat and get the right nutrition when I can't hold anything down ? I called my nurse to see if they can prescribe something because the tums and ginger is not working..does anyone have any insight on how to get through this in weeks to come ?

I was sick for 3 months. Loss 20lbs. They prescribed me Zofran, but even the texture of the little pill made me gag and sick. Eating a full cup of ice before meals worked for me, but honestly I just had to weather the storm. I hope you feel better!

I took diclegis and it was a life saver. It's geared towards prego women unlike Zofran which is general anti nausea.

Hey girl!  8 weeks right here i feel your pain right now mines pretty bad but my doctor recommended to keep a couple saltine crackers and a cup of water on my bedstand.  She says its caused by not eating long periods of time... like sleeping. Dont forget your prenatals very important right now. Feel better hun

Soup soothes my stomach. Over toasted toast helps the nausea. As long as you are taking your prenatal vitamins you should be getting some type of nutrition in your body.  Talk to your doctor if you really can't stand it
