Need milk

How can I produce more milk??? My pump suks and I cant afford a better one my son breast feeds but he cant latch on very well so I have been pumping for him and lettinf him try to breast feed

It helped me a lot, I used it for the first few weeks and after that was able to breast feed without it.  I never heard it was bad to use, it was given to me at the hospital when they were showing me how to feed my son  and I loved it.

I thought nipple shields r not good for breast feeding?

Try a nipple shield to help him latch.

Ive tried but I have flat nipples so its hard to get him to latch..

There is a pill u can take that is safe called fenugreek and that will help u produce more milk.

you need to try and get him to latch on properly, easier said than done I know, but keep trying, also by putting him to breast as often as he wants, that will increase your milk, each time you put him to your breast for a feed, also have at least one glass of water
