Nisha, I am so sorry to hear how this ended. I can understand and relate to the pain you feel.  I lost my first son at 37 weeks due to a cord accident.  I spent the first several weeks in bed, crying constantly.  It felt like a part of me had been ripped out of my chest.  BUT I can tell you that, while the hurt never fully goes away, it does get better.  You find ways to cope.  I wrote 3 poems for my son and had the Pastor read them at his funeral.  I also used some of his funeral flowers (dried) to make magnets in rememberence of him.  Every year on his birthday I have a special candle arrangement that my mom made for his funeral.  I light it for a little while each year.

Its little things like those that help you to move forward. I also found that the more I talked about it, the easier it became to deal with.  Please don't hesistate to send me a private message if you would like to talk!

Last wensday when I went to the doctor for my weekly check up my daugther had no heart beat. I loss her I loss my Chayce. They admitted me and and later that night discovered that I had a infectionand I went into labor. The doctors say I should have been gone also so i should be happy. I am so hurt and full of so much pain and anger. Its been a week and Iam still crying night and day. Not to mention the huge cut that goes up and down my stomach I am scared forever in more ways than one.My baby girl is gone forever. I dont blame the doctors I dont blame god because everything happens for a reason and I understand that. With nho fluid in there with her who knows all of the issues and pain we could have been faced with.I know that right now this pain is so much Iam deeply hurt. I wish my baby could have lived.

I recently read several stories of women having ectopic pregnancies that went to term 38-40 weeks where the baby grew outside of the womb...therefore no fluid. Don't listen to these dumb drs. Your baby is fighting! Also, I wouldn't let them deliver at 23 weeks... that's way way way too soon...

my friends mother in law carried twins succesfully without amniotic fluid, she said she didnt even look pregnant, she didnt have a bump or anything. she was a high risk pregnancy and was in and out hospital, at 1 point she was there everyday so the hospital could scan the babies to check they were ok. but the twins are now 15 years old :) your baby is still there at 20 weeks, shes a fighter!! :)

I hope everything goes well for you and your little girl. She's fighting for a reason, but I agree with the ladies above..get a second opinion. Only time will tell how things will end up. But best of luck to you and your little girl.

There is such a thing as amnioinfusion. Not sure exactly when it can be performed but basically they infuse your womb with artificial amniotic fluid to keep baby going until it's safe to deliver.  I would start asking about this asap.  Don't give up and do NOT let them talk you into anything you aren't comfortable with. Babies are amazing and can survive a lot of things.

If I were you I would start calling around to Children's hospitals like St. Jude.  Tell them what's going on and ask if they have any doctors they recommend that can help you.

Thanks so much ladies I did go to another ER and they told me the same thing.I am working with both my regular doctor and a high risk doctor. They told me that I can hold on to my baby or deliver her and she will not survive. They says that they can not save her this early she has to be at least 23weeks. It took such along time for me to actually get pregnant I was told at the age of 19 that I probably will never be able to have kids. And now at the the age of 25 I finally have my dream my wish my blessing. I was told when I found out that I was pregnant that It most likey was an etopic . The  they said you will miscarriage any day day. Then then said I have to at least make it to 12 weeks and Here I am at 20 weeks and 5 days I refuse to give up. How can still feel her heart beat and feel her moving. God is able and I know he will get us through this.

I want to add to what Michele said....go to the ER. and fight for your rights to be taken care of, do not wait passively at home. maybe there's something to be done, maybe not, but it needs to be decided in a medical setting where you are admitted to the hospital and cared for.

I would get a different doctor!!!  Oh my gosh, I cannot believe this doctor!!!  That DOES NOT sound right at all.  As far as I know, even if something happens to the baby at 20 weeks, you have to deliver the baby.  You wouldn't wait for your body to miscarry on its own.  And I cannot believe that there isn't something that can be done about this in this day and age.  Please call another doctor right now and get seen.
