Normal or signs of preterm labor???

Hello everyone!
I am 34 weeks pregnant. So far I had no complications with my pregnancy. Everything seemed to be going perfect. The last couple days however I been feeling kind of bad and it seems like it’s getting worse everyday. First of all I have no energy period and I have a mild nausea. I have not throw up but it just keeps me nauseated all day. On top of that I have headache and problems sleeping. What really started to worry me is all kind of pain I’m feeling down there. About a week ago I started to feel once in a while kind of pressure like feeling in my pubic area and a little sharp pain in my abdominal, mostly on the left side. But with each day it gets worse and worse. By today, it’s noticeable painful and the pain is always there.  It’s painful  to sit or get up or walk, even laying down is I feel this pain.  I can feel the baby movements very low, and they become very uncomfortable and painful. Every time I feel the baby move it get sharp pain in my left abdominal. Overall, down there I feel like very bruised and  stretched,( kind of like when you ride a jet ski or bicycle for too long) with a continuous pulling down sensation. I also always want to pee really really bad and then when I go I hardly have anything coming out. Is it normal to feel this way at this stage?

I have had 4 preterm births and that does sound worrysome but not like preterm labor. However I would get checked! Like Ashelen said anything out of the normal for you is casue for a check up. You could be dialating. My Aunt was dialated to 4 from 33 weeks on and had her babies in 1hour-22 mins. So it could just be how the baby like sto lay also but you need to know for sure. You said you have been feeling nausaus too. I got dehydrated ofeten and had to go get an IV fluids like every week from 28 weeks on no matter how mauch I drank! Being dehyfrated can make you feel bad casue more nasuea and pain and even contractions. I drank 2 gallons of water a day and still got dehydrated. Some woman are just like that. But as long as you feel that baby moving do not worry till you have to and just get checked today! Your instincts are your best friend right now! Trust them!!!!!! If the nurse says you do not need to come in say you would rather come in anyway! They do not always know!

I agree. I'm 34 weeks too, and feel the same way as you but I also felt the same way during my last pregnancy at this stage. Your baby is probably head down now, preparing for delievery in the oncoming weeks, and that's why you feel more pressure, etc... But you should consult your doctor to make yourself feel better. :)

I felt much like that from 34wks to delivery at 40, but you should go to your doctor. Whenever you feel like there's something out of the ordinary, especially in the weeks leading up to due date, you need to go get checked out or at least call. Better safe than sorry...but I think you're fine. Just call or go to be sure. Good luck, let me know what happens!!! <3
