Not finding out what they are

So after talkin to some family members and getting people's opinions I have decided not to find out what the twins are.  At first I was going to have their dad know but I don't even want him knowing.   Most people are upset that I'm not finding out but they are my babies and I want to be surprised when I give birth.  People think I am being selfish because it will be hard for people to shop for them. I even had my best friend tell me she wasn't going to throw my baby shower if I didn't find out what they were.  But that didn't change my mind.  I've gone four months without knowing, I'm sure another five(hopefully) wont kill me.

We still do fun things like the ring & string test an Chinese gender calendar just to guess, but are holding strong to not finding out

We never found out with our first two.  I was so convinced our first was a boy that when she came out it was a huge surprise.  We decided to find out with this baby as it's our last and kinda want to be prepared.  Some were disappointed that we chose to find out as the whole part of being pregnant is the surprise at the end (especially for our grandparents).

im 34 weeks now and didnt find out. some ppl got really funny wiv me and partner for it but its our choice! we sit round and just talk bout this baby all the time coz its still such a lil mystery :) cant wait to meet him/her now xxx

I couldn't wait. We had 6 u/s done to try to find out but all they could do was give me an idea its a girl the cord has been between the legs and all they know is they see no boy parts.

I could hardly wait my turn the day I got my ultrasound, everytime they came out and called someone elses name I went "ugggghhhhh" really loudly and I walked slightly ahead of the tech who took me back, you have a ton of will power if you aren't finding out!!!

i wont be finding out the gender of my baby either. theres a few ppl in my family that are frustrated by it but they'll just have to get over it. if ichange my mind, ill have a gender revealing party closer to delivery date

Well my next appt is to find out the gender.  But as it gets closer the less I want to know. But their daddy wants to know so I will let him know.   That way he can get their coming home outfits :).  But I want to be surprised when they come out and the dr says congrats you have a boy/girl.  And this is a real shock to everyone because I hate surprises

It's SUPER hard not to know or find out lol. We have an US on the 28th and could potentially find out so it will be waaaay hard not to! But we want the surprise!

It sounds like such fun but I have the patience of a 5 year old so I cant wait that long lol. If thats what you guys choose then go for it! As long as they are healthy who cares boy/girl!

Thank you. I might cave and let him find out what we are having but he is really good at keepin secrets so I won't find out. But I'm a high risk pregnancy and if I loose one or both it would be even harder knowing what they are.  But nothing will happen to them. I just hope I am not able to tell what they are when I go in for my ultra sounds

We are not finding our either and people have been such jerks abt it. Because THEY can't plan accordingly!!!! WTH?! Last I checked this is OUR choice! We have 3 boys and are hoping for a girl but will be happy with a healthy baby boy or girl! Good luck and stay strong! Do what's right for you and your spouse.

I think that shows a strong will with you. I'm dying to know my baby's gender.
Your family and friends are being a little unfair about it, and could buy neutral items, or get you money or giftcards instead..

I've never found out as I like the surprise and there are plenty of netural colours/things you can get for babies with having to know the sex :)
