OK.... I'm an idiot.
...but I tested today at 8DPO. I know, I know, too early right??? And I was totally expecting a BFN. Instead, I gpt a really weird result I've never seen before (and I've peed on a LOT of sticks. LoL)
The control line came up and a really blurry smear came over the other line. It was not at all a LINE, but a pick BLOTCH, didn't go the whole way ---across-- the stick, but was three or four times wider than the line would nomally be.
Took a second test (of course, I had just used up my fmu....) and it was negative.
I know, I know, you'll say, Wait a few days and test again. And-- of course-- I will. But in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone else has ever seen a "blurry" line?? And were you preggo or not??
I googled it and didn't get much info. Thx!!

I've had that and been NOT pregnant. I think it's a defective test that causes that....or total oversaturation of the test strip...but that's REALLY hard to do.
I can't find my camera! :( Will just have to wait and see. I'm not too optimistic, really, it seemed like a defective test.
yes with my first son i tested like that for about 2 weeks before it came back a full possitive. i would say go to a clinic and get a blood test. or try a different brand of HPT. best of luck!
Never seen that before - post a pic..sounds interesting! I hope the next test is a more recognizable positive! :-)
Never seen that, but hopefully it's a good sign! Fx for you!!! Maybe because it did turn pink it'll be a positive on your next test!! ****SSBD****
