There isn't anything wrong with sour cream it's unpasturIzed dairy that you shouldn't have. That does not include cream cheese, sour cream cottage cheese. Cheesecake should be fine too. As long as it is a pasteurized product and cooked the appropriate amount or kept refrigerated properly it is ok. Obviously NO raw meats. Turkey as far as research shows is safe. People freak out about all sorts of things, vaccines and all sorts of stuff bc of mercury. If we follow all this stuff we would have to live in a bubble and go hungry.

we shop at whole foods though so ours is organic and I would not worry then

I never heard of this! MAybe it is from shots they give them? I follow things as well and ahve only heard of fish having mercury. DOn't forget the soft cheeses are bad too! Like cheese cake and sour cream blue cheese etc... I know that turkey is very extreemly high is sodium too.

I've always eaten turkey during pregnancy and never had an issue.. out of numerous doctors I've seen during my 7 pregnancies I've never been advised NOT to eat it.
