40 + 4 Days and I'm getting increasingly anxious because they're going to induce me on Thursday.

Any old wife tales that you can share with me to get my labour going will

I heard if you walk on a beach it makes you go in to labor and i know someone that boiled a big pot of water and squated over it to let the steam go up in there and it made her go in to labor and she wasnt even full term...  i dont know how much those actually work but good luck

Thanks ladies, I'm going to try the basil and oregano tea. Doesn't sound too pleasant lol but I'll give it a go. I've been walking and having sex but that hasn't kick started anything yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks again for the advice :-)

Have u heard or basil and oregano tea. Lol its nasty its 1 Tabs of each and I just wrapped them up in a coffee filter and let it sit in a cup of hot water for 10. Then I scrubbed my floors in my house on my hands and knee. I started to get contractions I think I drank 2 cups
But I still was induced at 40+5

To be honest baby will come when its read , but theres plenty you can do to try encourage it along. Walking up and down your stairs sideways, long walks, lots of sex, driving on bumpy roads. Eating spicy food, mango or shrimp. On your hands and knees washing the floors, bouncing on birthing ball x
