Pain in cervix while peeing?

I'm 25w4d and almost every time I go pee I get a sharp pain in my cervix, it stops when I'm done, it's almost the same as when she kicks my cervix, but she's usually not kicking while I'm peeing..anyone else have this issue or should I call my doctor? I looked it up and incompetent cervix keeps coming up, yikes!

I feel like my OB thinks I am crazy too, but oh well, it's my body and my baby.

Everything is so different when pregnant. I had a yeast infection and didn't even know it because I had no burning or itching like I always have in the past.

Glad it's only a uti and nothing more!

Definitely glad that's all it was, I've always gotten burning with a UTI, this is more like a sharp pain, took me off guard!

I'm only 25w5d though, that's what scares me, you ladies are a bit farther along than I am! I'm going to call my OB office today.

Look up interstitial cytosis or IC. watch for symptoms after delivery or ask for the test. I got this during my second pregnancy. :)

I have always heard of women having an incompetent cervix at like 15 or 16 weeks. One girl I know lost her baby at 16 weeks from it. I am probably wrong about that though. She is probably just stretching out on a nerve in your bladder using it as a pillow. My son thinks my ribs and lungs are a punching bag and a leg press.

Really? I thought incompetent cervix was anything before 32 weeks? Last time I got checked (about a month ago) for contractions, he said my cervix was long and closed, so that's good. I just called my L&D and she said it sounds like the position of baby, and nothing to worry about. It only worries me because when I was in active labor with my son every time I'd pee I'd get these same pains (well, I got them a lot more often, too, but worse when I peed). She better stay put for a while longer!

I think you are out of the woods for an incompetent cervix. I had the same issue, and I was actually dehydrated. Utis can pop up any time, and sometimes without any symptoms

I just got checked for a UTI, it feels like she's kicking down there but she's not. I guess I'll call my doctor tomorrow and ask him, thank you!

I have gotten it probably 3 out of the last 5 times I've peed, and it's just started. Hoping it doesn't continue and it's not an issue! :(

I've had that. Not every time but sometimes. Also if I need to go badly for either I get pain. And I can get pain whilst pooping too. (Tmi) but I think it's just coz there isn't as much room in their as normal. So things are a bit cramped.
