Pain!!!

I am 21 weeks pregnant (5 months, 1 week) and I've been experiencing a lot of pain here and other, especially in my back and calves. I already have back issues, so pain in that area is normal, but lately it has been excruciating, and I just want to know if this is normal at this point in pregnancy? I ask this of mothers who have already been through pregnancy. This is my 1st child and I see my OB/GYN in two days. But, as I feel about a lot of doctors, the OB's I see are young and have no children, so they don't speak from experience, they speak from guessing, and I don't like guessing...especially when it comes to a child----and most of all, MINE! Your responses are greatly appreciated.

Isn't pregnancy fun lol.... It will only get worse ... Your baby is growing !  I'm sure your back problems don't help .... My chiropractor said to use an ice pack not a heating  pad , and if your mattress is really squishy put a board under if because firm mattresses are better for pregnant bodies apparently ... Maybe look into a prenatal adjustment and a prenatal massage ... That's what I did I felt reborn lol

Back pain is totally normal during pretty much every stage of pregnancy. I went to the ER a week ago for back pain and bad cramps and they told me it was normal at this point to have all of that going on. Deffinatly bring it up to the ob! Even if they have not had their own, they have been well trained and know the warning signs. Don't stress to much and I would say go to the ER if your cramps get bad. No reason to risk anything just on the safe side.
