People holding the baby

I really don't want my baby to be passed around like pass the parcel... I'm due in 1 day and don't know how to tell people id prefer if they didn't hold her...
I need some suggestions on how I could say it in a polite way?

Its natural for people to want to hold babies people have for years and babies need to be held there is actually something called failure to thrive when a baby isnt held enough I dont think any dr would tell someone babies dont need to be held thats why in the nicu they do kangaroo time so the baby will thrive I think if you dont want people to hold your baby you probably shouldnt have them come and visit just my opinion and I understand germs but people can wash there hands

I was determined about that too clear up through getting situated in my over night room after delivery but when people came in and I saw them fall in love and see that lool shine in their eyes my whole outlook changed. Just be open to the possibility of that happening.  Saying passed around like a parcel isnt the way to look at it. But just like our bodies chemistry needs the chemicals pff their bodies for that bond they also have a natural innate unexplained need to touch that baby for themselves. No one can stop that need and to deny a very animalistic need like learning your decendents chemistry to bond doesn't seem right, now that I use hindset and common sense not mommy brain.

I'm undecided if I should tell people iv had her while I'm in hospital or wait until I get home... It would probably be easier for people to understand if they came to hospital and heard it from the midwife that it unsettles the baby to much... What do you think?

With my first born people were offended, but i was mad when they went behind my back... this time no ones offended because they realized that turing my son into a hand baby was the worst thing to do because hes now six years old and all he wants is to be carried every where. And hes over 60 pounds

I flat out told people that i dont want them to pass my son around and hold him consistantly, because i didnt want him to be a hand baby. When i got home, they did anyways when i was sleeping they'd go and pick him up. With my daughter, i told my mom i really dont want her being a hand baby and she said she understands and she told everyone else that she she doesnt want the baby to be a hand baby so no one can hold her unless they ask me, or my husband first.

My mom told people that the doctor said no one should hold me. Too many germs. I just flat out told people no with my son.
