I have a separation of my placenta from uterus with lots of blood in-between and a clot as well. I had to big heavy bleeds, one December 3 and the second on jan 1. Ive been on bed rest since the first bleed. I am only allowed to go to the bathroom.  Someone comes over to feed me for lunch. I see a high risk ob/gyn so he can watch baby. And I have o- blood so every time I bleed I get a rhogam shot! I tried posting something about this last week to find out what others have done but no one responded to me. I am almost 21 weeks and I haven't bleed in almost a week so hopefully things inside are going away. Good luck with your clot and I hope everything turns out just fine with you and baby!!!!

I am 31+4 and am currently experiencing this since 12 weeks. I see a specialist every three weeks and get a 4d ultrasound. I have to have my baby girl before I hit 38 weeks because of it unless I start bleeding and contracting again. Things that can make is worse are smoking amd drinking. It is one of those situations that you need to be careful. I am noy allowed to be farther than 20 minutes from a hospital just in case. When I was 27 weeks I was sent to the hospital because the bleeding irritated my cervix and started contractions. I was also given steroids for babys lungs. Maybe talk to your doc about the steroids. Also I would suggest for you to not be more than 20 minutes from a hospital but I am not a doctor
