Prefer Salty-Spicy Food means its a boy..??

Okay, this is for fun really..i am just curious, is it true if you are craving spicy and salty food as apposed to sweet food means you are carrying a boy..?

I am currently inmy 7th week and started from week 4 i just HATE sweet food..even to drink sweetened drink (sugared drink) is a NO-NO to me.. i feel like i am gonna throw up.. not to mention eating cake, candy or chocolate.

Does this mean i am most probably is carrying a boy..? my husband kinda hoping for a girl so maybe i should warn him outfront not to hope to much if i am most probably carrying a boy... :)

any inputs would be much appreciated!

Im around 5 weeks preggo and I literally drink cups of hot sauce. I almost put hot sauce on everything I eat. Im not really a fan of sweet foods while Im pregnant. Hopefully this myth is true for me bcuz me & my baby daddy want a baby boy ! #fingers crossed.

i've had 3 girls and i can't stand eating sweet foods...  i always want steak or wings or cheese or fish!!!  eating sweet things has always made me sick to my stomach while pregnant...

ohh ya, i tried the Chinese Lunar Calendar and they said that i am having... a boy!!! ok, now i really feel that i am carrying a boy...LOL.

Ohh, it doesnt matter, I love the baby very much either way..!

Krissy, sure i will update you once i found out mind..but wont be so soon though.. darn, i am dying to know but i guess i should learn a little bit of patience..! i read about the intelligender but figure that i probably should just wait it out and play the guesing game..! i have heard that too!  i have been craving salty/spicy (when i am not pregnant, i hate salty and love sweet so this is a change for me!!!).  i am pretty sure that we conceived a boy just because of the timing that we had sex...  now the salty cravings are making me think that even more!  a little girl would be so wonderful, but there are so many special things about little boys!  as long as we all have happy healthy little babies :-)  keep me updated on when you find out the sex.  i am so early on...probably won't find out till march or april??  if you absolutely can't wait to find out, some girls on here told me about intelligender.com where you can find out in just 10 weeks!  i think i am going to hold out though...it's sort of fun guessing...

I've had 2 boys and 2 girls and there's no rhyme or reason to my cravings.  I do believe that HOW you carry the baby can be a factor.  Both of my boys carried high and my girls carried low.

For me, my cravings are always pretty much the same.  Once I get over the morning sickness (all day for me), I just crave anything I can get my hands on because I'm just so happy I can eat again!  But, I have 1 boy and 4 girls and I have always loved Mexican food throughout pregnancy.

tarajanes, thanks for your inputs. My cousin just had a girl last Friday and suddenly out of the blue, i felt a little bit envy of her..LOL! i guess deep in my heart, i probably hoing for a girl too..! but after all, it doesnt matter, boy or a girl, they are always precious little one..!!

i heard that that salty sour food cravings meant boy. but just a myth. throughout this pregnancy i've been only wanting salty spicy foods. i do find out what i'm having on the 18th. 9 more days . i'll let ya know when i find out.
