Pregnancy with IUD?

I am really scared to death!!! I am so scared I am pregnant and I have a IUD in. I haven't had a period in like 4 months. Now, I am spotting lightly, cramping for about 2 weeks, TIRED AND COME SLEEP FOREVER, I am hungry all the time and I have had some light headedness, & I get sick on my stomach kind'a easily! Could I be pregnant? I am scared to take a test...I just know all the risk that come with being pregnant on an IUD....& if I am can I have a healthy baby...what will they do if I am? Please someone tell me anything!

Yes please take a test...even if it is just a home test.  It will give you answers.

The effect of an IUD on you body is harsh my cousin had one and had her periods for 20 months with only a week in between each.  So everyone is different.  The effects you could be feeling could be you body rejecting it.

If you are pregnant more than likely they will take the IUD out.

Hi,

You need to get tested.  You could be pregnant, but it could also be seomthing else.  Please go see your doctor for checkup, regardless of the outcome of your pregnancy test.

Yes, it is possible to have a successful pregnancy even with an IUD.  They may remove it or they may need to leave it in, depending on it's location and the pregnancy.

However, one possible side effect of the IUD is lack of periods.  So there is also possibility you are not pregnant.

Let us know how you go.
