Pregnant again after 2 miscarriages and scared

Hello Ladies,

I first joined Medhelp in January after my first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage and i found it incredibly helpful to voice my concerns with other woman who knew the heartache id experienced. I went on to have a CP in April before the discovery of several blocked kidney stones put our TTC on hold for 5 months.... Well i'm delighted to announce that i'm pregnant again (1st month of trying after the kidney stone opps) but i'm sooo scared at the same time. I'm 7weeks tomorrow and although i had an ultra sound at 6w 3 days in  which i saw my iddy biddy bean with a little beating heart, i can't shake off the feeling that things might go wrong. I have next to no pregnany symptoms which i worry about as it was the same with my missed miscarrige. Does anybody know how likely it would be for me to have 2 missed miscarriages or 3 loses back to back?? i have another scan this Friday and i am trying to stay possitive.

I had a missed miscarriage back in march at almost 10 weeks along. I had no symptoms with that pregnancy. With this pregnancy I have had no symptoms again and I am almost 12 weeks, so I know exactly how you feel. So far everything is going great and my little bean is right on track :) try not to worry....symptoms do not tell the viability of the pregnancy.

I have had 3 miscarriages. 2 were in 2009. One was a planned pregnancy and the second was right after the first miscarriage. We had been very careful to not get pregnant again so soon but it happened and we miscarried. I insisted that my dr run tests to find out what went wrong and she found I had polyps in my uterus so I had surgery to have them removed. In the middle of 2010 we decided to try again and miscarried then went to a specialist and I had something else wrong but now am 16 weeks pregnant and everything is going well :) I lost all the babies when they were around 7-8 weeks. After we had found a heartbeat. I have friends who have had several miscarriages and they had no problems with the uterus it just happened. So it depends since everyone is different. I would try not to stress about it as that makes it worse. Maybe see if your dr can have you come in a little more often til your around 12 weeks so that they can monitor everything and keeps your fears at bay :) my specialist had me come in every week til I was 10 weeks for bloodwork and an ultrasound and my regular ob is doing ultrasounds at every monthly checkup to keep an eye on the babies growth and to help me stay calm since I am a very nervous person in general.

As far as pregnancy symptoms. They can be very misleading. With my son I didn't start getting any symptoms til around 9 weeks. With the first 2 mc I never got any symptoms the 3rd mc I was having nausea vomiting sore breasts and just overall felt yucky but it started around 6 weeks and with my current pregnancy it was around 5-6 weeks that I started having symptoms and most have subsided except for the nausea/vomiting but it comes as goes. Some days are better than others.

Good luck!
