Progressing cervix?

Two days ago after starting from 10am and going til about 3:30-4pm cleaning my house getting it ready for visitors for Christmas (this is not nesting for me, I go through regular "spring cleaning" spurts every 2 weeks or so, drives me nuts haha) this time I did overdo it on the cleaning a little bit, and afterwards I was getting some really sharp pains in my cervix, like the kind I got when I was in active labor with my son, but I wasn't getting contractions or anything so I just overlooked them, then the next day I baked cookies from about 10am til 1pm on my feet the whole time, and after that I was getting the sharp pains in my cervix again. (They go away after about 3-4 hours, it's pretty random in when the pain comes) and then tonight DH and I had sex, and I got a really bad sharp pain after that.. and am getting them randomly now. Is this a sign of a progressing cervix, or maybe an infection, maybe the way baby is sitting? I'm 36w2d and have a scheduled c-section for January 14th, so I'm really hoping for no surprises but I don't know if I should mention it to my doctor at my visit Thursday

I hope nothing serious is going on, haha, I didn't dilate until I was in active labor with my son so I'm hoping I don't start dilating, I'll tell my OB but I doubt he'll bother checking me since I'm having a c-section in 20 days, hoping I don't go earlier because I'm looking forward to spending these last 20 days with my son!

I got lots of those pains but was only a finger tip dilated. It can mean cervix is changing though xx

And last night after a couple hours of my sharp pain I was sleeping in bed and was woke up to two very very painful contractions in a row.. they stopped completely after that, thank god, but I haven't had any contractions at all not even BH this whole pregnancy so that scares me!

I was getting it a while ago when she moved around, now I'm getting it randomly and it's always when she's NOT moving, that's why it concerned me, I'll definitely mention it to my doctor because I really don't want to go before 39 weeks, so hopefully it's nothing!

Ive been getting those pains just about everyday now. Feels like a bee stinging ur cervix? I just always say he's punching my cervix again since he always happens to be moving around a lot when I get the pain. And I wouldn't doubt if it helped the cervix to progress. Never hurts to mention things like this to ur Dr.
