Protein sources?? I'm so stuck..

Being pregnant has created some food aversions for me..   I cant even think about fish or chicken.  The only thing I'll eat for protein is yogurt, milk, peanut butter, some nuts.    But I dont think I'm getting enough in..   Any suggestions on foods???

You can find some breads that have like 5 grams of protein per slice. Get the whole wheat natural kind.

Also I have found some tortilla shells (the expensive ones) are loaded with protein too.

The CIBs (Carnation Instant Breakfast) that someone mentioned are a great source. Nuts, beans, fish, etc. Some foods have protein in them anyway, so check labels!

Have you tried Eggs? Their a great source of Protein and very yummy too! Beans....Soy products have a lot of Protein in them. Also when I was Pregnant last time I was always eating those Protein bars...you can get them 10 for $10 and their low in sugar and fat and they come in delicious flavors! You can also find Cottage Cheese with lots of Protein in it these days...Oh and I don't know if you've seen them but Special K makes these single serving drink packets (like the Crystal Light ones) that you just put in a water bottle and drink and they make them with PROTEIN..their very delicious! I would double check with your doc to make sure their okay but they dont have aspartame in them which is good.
Avacado, Asparagus, Whole Wheat products, Rice...and you can make a stir fry of high protein Veggies and mix it with some whole wheat pasta...tons of fiber and protein! Sorry I was a nutritionist for a couple years so I learned a lot about healthy foods!
Hope that helped!
