RE: Is it safe to use Vicks Vapor Rub during pregnancy?

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and have severe common cold congestion.  Would like know if its safe to use Vicks Vapor Rub during pregnancy??  Is it safe to dab a little on my upper lip just to help ease my breathing during sleep??

Thanks for responding Anita!!  I really appreciate it.  Congratulations on getting to 26 weeks of pregnancy!!  I hope I'll be able to get to that stage too. I lost my first one at 9 weeks last July. I'm 26 weeks an 2 days pregnant an I have used it the whole time.  I have asthma so it helps me sleep.  My dr knows I use it an they never told me not to... so I would say that its safe.  I'm high risk so if it was not safe they would have told me asap.  I have found that a vicks vaporizer helps too.  I hope this helps.  Anita
