Rapidly Gaining Weight

I am only 5ft 1inch tall (short). Prepregnancy I weighed 142 pounds. Prior to then I was 175 pounds. In total I lost 33 pounds.

Now that I am pregnant I do not mind gaining the weight back, especially considering what I will have at the end of these 9 months :) I am now 10 weeks pregnant. I have gained almost 6 pounds since becoming pregnant. Everyone tells me to eat and be healthy for me and the baby, ect.... But, I am worried that I am putting on the weight too fast. According to some of my friends it looks like I'm already starting to "show"!

thank you for your comment. I am constantly telling myself enough is enough :) Prepregnancy I walked, water aerobics, zumba, low impact step, and did yoga. Due to spotting and cramping my doc has told me to stop all exercise. So I guess I am just stuck with the weight until I'm cleared to at least get back to my walking routine.

All you can do is eat healthy and exercise. Remember you are NOT literally eating for two. In the first trimester you really don't need many extra calories and baby is the size of a peanut. That's about all you can do
