Hi there, congratulations... join the club- I am 6 wks and my tummy looks 4 mths stage! lol.  Check out my pictures- I put one on today... Is your tum around same size?  I heard the body can make more room if there are multiples so you never know!!  I would love to have twins! I love my bump even if it is just fluid... I feel so blessed to be with child. x

i have been the same way.  but mine was also due to having to use progesterone supps, but if the medication can do that, your regular body progesterone can do that too.

I was SUPER bloated all thru the first 10 weeks of my pregnancy at least!!! I think it may have lasted longer til about 12-14w.  but it goes away only to be replaced by a feeling of fullness from your uterus growing up!

hahaha... it will go away soon.  I am in my 10th week and freaked out a few days ago because I thought I wasn't preggo anymore because my bloating has gone down significantly!!!  But, now that I know everything is just fine, I am sooo thankful that it is disappearing :)  I feel MUCH better now!  So, in a few more weeks you will be wayyy less bloated. :)

chances are the bloating will go away soon and tummy will go back to almost normal.  You should be able to get away with the 5-6 month thing.  I didnt end up getting my belly  until about 25 weeks and I was 33 weeks before the first person ever commented on the baby issue.  Dont forget to drink a bunch of water.  The gas...my husband told me at 12 weeks that we would have no other children because I smelled like an elephant!  I guess men get pregnancy gas amnesia since we are trying again.  Good Luck and enjoy!

Thanks for your responses. You are actually right I have been a beany baby :) .. I guess now rather than blaming the beans for the gas I can put it on pregnancy.

Nice to hear that bloating is normal. I have not told anyone at work about my pregnancy and dont want to until 5-6 months into it...but my bloated stomach already looks pregnant ...hehe!

Yep... totally normal.  It has to do with the progesterone that your body is producing.  Progesterone smoothes out your muscles and makes your intestines a bit swollen.  So, you will find that you will have an extra amount of gas too!!!  Lovely, isn't it?  :)  Congrats on your pregnancy!
