Severe Cramping

I'm having severe lower abdominal cramping it feels like stabbing I went to the ER today they took a pregnancy test it came back negative and they also did a pap test to check for STD's the doc said it takes time for the test to come back he did say I didn't have Trichomoniasis which is GOOD!!!!he also stated that he will treat me just in case the tests are positive so he gave me 2 pills and a shot in my buttocks.They gave me nothing for pain I'm still in pain..I read that this could be symptoms of a ectopic pregnancy..I made a appt to see my family dr but that's not for 2weeks but if the pain don't go away I'm going back to the ER because I'm scared..Did anyone else experience this??Or just give your opinion as to what might be going on THANKS....

Thanks ladies and no they didn't check 4 kidney issues or appendicitis..I'm thinking I was having real bad menstrual cramps bcuz I'm bleeding now and its bright red so AF did arrive so I guess I'm not pregnant..

Did anyone check you for kidney issues or appendicitis?  An ectopic pregnancy would come up as positive on a pregnancy test even if it was ectopic.

I had a friend that had this type of pregnany, which ended up in miscarriage. But she did describe too me this lower abdominal pain and was telling me that something was not right. So I would certainly make a dr appt. I hope they can go ahead and get you in. Best to you
